The people must have the final voice on congressional legislation

The Congress of The United States and The President of The United States are 1/300,000 of 1% (one three hundred thousandths of one percent) of all registered voters in America.  With today's technology there is no reason why all registered voters cannot vote online on legislation before it is enacted into law.  This requires a Constitutional Amendment and the people demand support from The Congress of The United States and The President of The United States for this Constitutional Amendment.

The Constitutional Amendment shall provide:

1.  A secured website will be set up to accommodate the online vote of all registered voters in America.

2.  The Congress will pass legislation and send it to the President for his signature.  The President may sign the legislation, or veto the legislation.

3.  If the President vetoes the legislation, the legislation is returned to Congress, where the Congress can vote to override the Presidential veto with a two-thirds (2/3) vote of The House of Representatives and The Senate.  If the Congress fails to override the President's veto, the legislation dies.

4.  If the President signs the legislation, the legislation is then posted to the secured website for a period of seventy-two hours (72 hours).  During this time the registered voters in America will be allowed to review the legislation and vote online on the legislation.

5.  If a majority of those who vote on the legislation vote to enact the legislation, the legislation is enacted.

6.  If a majority of those who vote on the legislation vote against the legislation, the legislation is not enacted.

We the people demand that That The Congress of The United States and The President of The United States support and pass this Constitutional Amendment and send it forward to the states for ratification.
